Arborist Masterton is built around a small, practical team that values careful work, clear communication and respect for the Wairarapa community. We believe customers should know who they are dealing with and understand the people responsible for their tree work.
Daniel founded Arborist Masterton after developing a strong interest in tree care through years of outdoor property work. He enjoys spending time exploring the Wairarapa countryside and has a particular appreciation for the mature trees found in established Masterton gardens. Daniel oversees customer enquiries, assessments and job planning.
Matthew is a practical outdoor worker who enjoys hands-on property and tree maintenance. Growing up around the wider Wellington region, he developed an appreciation for rural landscapes and the work involved in maintaining them. He focuses on preparation, site organisation and careful attention to the surrounding property.
Hannah helps manage enquiries, scheduling and communication with customers throughout the Wairarapa. She enjoys gardening and has a particular interest in native plants and established residential landscapes. Her focus is making sure customers receive clear information and know what to expect at each stage of their job.
We begin by listening. Every property and tree presents different requirements, so we want to understand your concerns, the location of the tree and the result you are hoping to achieve. We then consider the available options and explain the work involved in straightforward language.
Before work begins, we aim to agree on the scope, expected costs and practical arrangements. We consider access, nearby structures and potential hazards when planning each job. Our team values preparation and communication just as much as the physical work itself. We want customers throughout Masterton, Greytown and Carterton to feel informed and comfortable with the decisions being made about their trees.
